Description
This is a Perfection Smokeless Oil Heater, Made in USA, with Trademark and Patent No. 630 marked on the front. It is two tone, brick red and country blue. I did some research on the patent number, 630 wasw issued in 1838. There is some rust around the top, but this piece is in excellent condition considering its age and could easily be restored.

Re: These 'Smokeless heaters'
Hey Lovejoy. I think you should do a little more research. Hers was made around 1913. I also saw a Perfection smokeless heater go fro over $600.00 on ebay recently. Just some friendly information. (:
Re: These 'Smokeless heaters'
The first quarter of the 20th Century means 1900-1925, the period the vast majority of these heaters were produced. Who ever paid $600.00 for one is the one who needs to do a little research, they sell all the time at auction and Ebay around the price I indicated.

I make some research. It was made around 1913-1915. I also saw a Perfection smokeless heater go fro over $700.00 on auction recently. It's like very old comfort zone infrared heater, which is very similar to this one.

Re: Perfection Smokeless Oil Heater
My grandmother had 2 of these heaters , I believe one of them was a model 525? and the other one had a glass section with flames on it. Wish I still had them today , they would make a great heater on the patio on cool evenings
Re: Perfection Smokeless Oil Heater
They were good for their day, but they always smelled of fuel. The modern versions are much more efficient, but not as near as portable or attractive
to look at ;~)

Re: Perfection Smokeless Oil Heater
I recently purchased a Perfection oil heater and am in need of an owners manual/operating manual. I know it takes a Perfection 500 wick. I was able to remove the old wick but need a new one and desperately need instruction. The oil storage tank has some rust but all else seems be operating . It has only one wick crank and it seems to be operating correctly. Any assistance is appreciated.
