trunk

Appraisal complete
Description This is an old trunk that appears to be a box crate with metal covering.  I do not see any markings or brand names on it, so that is why I suspect it is one of the earlier trunks, possibly the 1800's.  The inside has wall paper lining, some of which has peeled off and it is stained with age and use.  The handles on each side, which I assume must have been leather straps, are gone.  Only the hardware for these remains.
