This is more like Japanese stuff made in the 1960's, trade with Japan was blocked during WW2 and did not resume until the war was over. Pieces made after the war were marked "Occupied Japan" until 1952, some old stock still had such marks as late as 1955. Values for these sets is very modest, I've seen them sell for less than $50.00 at auction
