F B Rogers Silver dish

Description

It's a long oval shaped dish, no patterns or anything. It is wide in the middle, but narrows at each end. And the only engraving it has on it si on the bottom, and it's the makers mark. Says "Trademark 1883 F B Rogers SIlver Co" and then the number 1620. Not sure wether it is used as a candy dish, or a shallow gravy bowl.

History Has been in my family for many years, my mother thinks it belonged to my great grandparents, but we don't know for sure.
