History
Desk had been painted. We stripped several coats off in 1985 and finished it with varnish. Found in a little second hand store near Tampa.

You did very well , these little Colonial Revival style desks generally sell for over $150.00, even at auction. Smaller pieces of furniture have not seen the same reduction in demand as larger pieces in recent years.
