I'm new to lakeside but I understand the early pieces had a paper marker that did not divide the word lakeside into two words....lake....side....and are highly sought by collectors of the Stickley arts and crafts era.

Lakeside was one of many companies that traded off the boom for Mission/Arts&Crafts furniture promoted by Gustave Stickley and Elbert Hubbard. Values for them depend a great deal on condition and model, but most " In the Rough" sell for less than $400.00 at auction.

Lovejoy

Similar item from Lakeside, taller and with more detail, sold for $1500 on ebay last year. Sometimes these are called vice cabinets, the cabinet used to hold alcohol as well.
