Art Deco torchiere floor lamp

Description

This floor lamp has a frosted glass shade with zigzag design that seems typical of Art Deco.  The broad center post is metal with dark brown enamel(?) over it.  Brass base with some damage to finish.  Its original wiring shorted out and had to be removed, but I do recall it required a huge, 300watt bulb.

WHATHAHEL is wrong with this site? I can sign in just fine, but can't figure out how to add a new item (to request an appraisal or just get info on it.) Making matters worse, I look up my OWN posting from a year ago which is supposed to be my Art Deco lamp and there's a different photo on my posting! I did not add that photo, so how did it get on here?

Is anyone else having these problems or is it my computer? Any assistance or advice would be appreciated. ~Old&Poor
