OMG! You will not believe this. Last year I found at a garage sale, a promotions board for a local man, (maine) signed by Pres. W W, dated the day before USA declared war on Germany. it has the original Pres seal and on the large White house Promotion board..I have a picture of youd like to see it. it is a one of a kind find. Excellent condition.
Then Today! I went to the same Garage sale a year later, I find a lithograph hand written named "Belgian Villiage" (bottom left) sign by the author "A. Delormel" (hand signed bottom right) It is the very close to the same area it shows in your Lithograph. the giveaway is the twin arches over the river and the buildings are the same. It is framed in I believe the original frame, and in excellent condition despite its age.
I have not taken the back off...I am scared to touch it! All the research I have done so far tells me this is from the same time frame 1914-1917 for both items. I am thinking they may have even been "together" sometime...I will attempt to take a picture and send it here if I can.

Have you found out anything new about this, since the last time we spoke? I have not, but I still have mine.
