Description

While I would love to know the value of this picture, I am really just trying to find some information on the artist.  I have searched the web with no luck. The painting is probably 15 by 24.  It is an oil painting of a girl feeding chickens and signed by Leon Claran.  Any information would be appreciated.

<p>I just did a quick check on Artprice.com and they have no listings of paintings sold by this artist as far back as 1987. What you are dealing with is what&#39;s called an &quot;Unknown&quot;, meaning the artist never gained any following of collectors, or has sold anything of artistic merit at auction. Pieces such as this are often the work of Hobbyist&#39;s and sell for under $200.00 .</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Lovejoy </p>
