2 Small picture frames with Brass or Bronze Romans Depicted

Appraisal complete
Description My wife bought these on a tripto philadelhia last april. She bought them at an antique store it was a small store mom and pop kinda thing. She paid $75 for them. I am really curious as to what these plates/ plaques/ or whatever you would call tem are. Who they depict who they were made by and when. I think they are either brass or bronze. the background material is made of a velour kind of material. The heads are fixed by a screw that runs from the back of the frame. Did she get a good deal or not? Thanks
