Description

I know this picture is very dark but I hope someone can give me an idea of what this may be worth, or what type of furniture it is. I went to several different sites and find nothing like it.

Medium I'm not sure what kind of wood it is

Distinguishing marks the cushion on the settee is removable, and has small clips that hold it in place. The fabric is black with gold peacocks and flowers on it.

Condition Excellent

Date Period I think the 1920's

History I got it from a friend of mine who lived with an elderly man that died at the age of 100 in St. Louis, Mo. He was fairly wealthy.
