Dining Room Set 1940s?

Description Not sure on the period these were made.  Definitely circular saw used to cut pieces.  Walnut?  The legs and supports for table, china cabinet and side table are large and bulbous.  The dining table is expandable and has an extra leaf.  There are no markings or numbers to be found.  I'm guessing it was made in the 1940s?  What would the market value be for something liike this?  Should I refinish and restore it?
