I don't have a picture of the mimeograph, at present. The mimeograph is in deccent shape, mainly just dirty, but I have put off cleaning it, until I can get some idea of it's value, as it may be a job for a professional. The "paper copy" receiving tray is made of finished wood, with an emblem either painted or stuck in the center. The supports it rests on are also of the same wood and finish. There is a 1.5 to 2 inch dial with indicators which you manually rotate to indicate the number of copies you wish to make. When the choosen number of copies is reached, a small spring loaded dinger rings a bell, to indicate you are finished. It appears that copies are made by manually rotating the handle (also made of wood) on the end of the rotating drum back and forth. Other than that, I don't have a very good idea of how it is actually operated. |
