<p>Filing cabinets of this type made their appearance after the turn of the 19th Century and were made until World War Two.They reappeared during the 1980&#39;s when the demand for old oak examples exceeded supply of the originals. Values for them vary depending on their vintage and condition , as they are prone to damage from humidity and rough usage. Most need some sort of restoration if found in &quot; As Is &quot;condition. Most sell in the $450.00- $800.00 range.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Lovejoy </p>
