Sevres Casket

Description

This was received as a gift.  Others who have seen it say it is very valuable.  I think it is beautiful and would like to know more about it.  It is in perfect condition with no chips, wear or cracks.

When you open the hinged lid on the bottom of the interior is a painted beautiful flower.

Is is really Sevres?  Can you tell when it was made?  What is the value?

Samson pieces are collectible and I would judge this to be worth $600-$800. However, if it is Sevres it would be worth more in the range of $2500 - $3000
