Ganesha Statue

Description

Was told it came from Siam. Bought from an Antique dealer that was a personal friend of the family. Sold it to me a near cost. Antique dealer was located in Quoge, NY. I saw the same item(s) displayed in the Museum of Natural History...only not as good! Through my own investigation, this is called a Ganesha, and is of Hindu origin. This item was created in the 6th. or 7th. century originally.
