EXCELLENT CONDITION THIS PAIR OF LEFTON CHINA HAND PAINTED CREAM AND SUGAR BOWL SET. THE BEAUTIUFUL DETAIL OF THE ROSES AND TH INTRICATE PINK AND GREEN LEAVES HAND PAINTED. BOTH PIECES ACCENTED WITH GOLD AROUND RIM OF EACH BOWL AND ON THE HANDELS. REGISTERED US PAT. OFF AND NUMBERED ON BOTTOM

Size and dimensions of this item creamer is 4" wide from spout to handle 2.5" high to top of spout - sugar bowl is 5" wide handle to handel and 3.5" high to top of cover both are oval shaped
Date Period about 1940's I think
Weight ? very light
History I inherited them from my mother and she always had them I was the youngest and born in 1951 so I am guessing 1940's?

<p>Based on your images this set is typical of sets made both before and after world war two. Very little china was made during the the war years ( 1939-45) due to conversion of factories to the war effort. Lefton began operations in 1941, most pieces by this company postdate World War Two. Sets comparable to yours often sell for about $25.00 at auction.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Lovejoy </p>
