This is a historic appraisal from our archive.
it is a plate for serving fruit or salad or possibly decorative only. It is decorated all over with blue and white flowers outlined with a thin blue line. The blue part of each flower looks grainy- as if fabric has been stamped onto the plate. The flowers have green calixes. The entire plate between the flowers is painted a bright orange/red. The brush strokes are very visible and are slightly raised. The plate is round, but has small projections, like ears, which act as handles and make it look oval shaped. I want to know the name of the pattern so that I can try to replace this plate, which is broken.
