Description

two unfired clay statues. 1 is a leopard 1 is a monkey. Monkey has a moon stage necklace the leopard has what looks like bandages around his neck. One is slightly damaged from water that accidently spilled on it. both sit on a pedestol and both have a shield.

Both have a handle on top with what looks like Aztec/Mayan designs. Both also have two holes in the back one at the top and one at the bottom apparently to attach them to something. The plug created from the hole is still inside them both.

I purchased these in an old store years ago and the store is now gone. I am interested in finding out what they are, where they come from and what their estimated value is.

One has a grin similar to Aztec statues.
