My granddad got the letter opener of an officers table in Italy in WW2. Unfortunenatly he passed away and that is all information I have of where the item came from. The metal looks like copper, although it is a bit heavy to be copper. On the cheek bone of Mussolini there appears to be a letter “F’ and a “G’ or a “C”, cant make it out to clearly. The words CREDERE - OBBEDIRE - COMBATTERE (believe - obey - fight) appears on the letter opener.
