It is a quadruple silver plate picture frame around an abalone rendition of the army navy building in washington, d. c. covered in bevelled glass. on the back it says e. g. webster & sons n. y. and the numbers 336 or 338? and at the top of the back is a small ring for hanging on a wall over the words/numbers Pat. 1879
