1904-1949 Table - No. Furniture Company, Sherboygan, Wis.

Description

The table is in fair condition I would say. The top of the table is pretty severly cracked and/or peeling but the wood is good and the drawer is functional.  My basic question is one of value. Also, would refinishing the piece decrease or increase value if any? Any feedback is much appreciated, thanks!

History
I really know nothing about how my family has this piece. I grew up with it in my home my entire life and now I have it stored. From my little bit of online research and based on the hallmark I know it was made by the Northern Furniture Company, most likely b/w 1904 and 1916, before the company was bought by Reiss. http://www.sheboygan.lib.wi.us/pages/historyfurniture.html
