Description
Hi there,
The watch I have here is a mechanical Gold Tudor. It bears the rose of the tudor but sadly no model name. Ihave seen some with a shield around the rose, this one does not have any. Is it a sign that it is older?
The mechanism is signed tudor,17 rubies and swiss made, the winding mechanism bears rolex crown and the serial number is 558249. The inside is stamped with the 0,750 18k sign and a stamp (face seen from the side)
Would any one no a production period and model name for this watch please? How much is it worth in your eyes?
Many thanks
Re: Tudor watch (Rolex crown on winding mechanism)
A Rolex watch with that serial number would have been made in 1947 or 1948. Not sure which brand as it is listed as a Tudor watch. IF that is the brand and parts were made by Rolex, then it would affect the value of the watch. Being 18k gold and that old it should be worth anywhere from $3500 to $5000 depending on condition.
