Description From 1939 gift to grandparents for their wedding. Reminds me of Hitler, has little mustache. Is very detailed , has pocket watch with chain painted on it. Apron with strings that are tied in back chefs hat.

I use to collect cookie jars and so I know this jar. It was made by the company Redwing and his name is chef Pierre. Not sure of the current value since I stopped collecting when the prices were drove down due to the market being flooded by remakes. I hope my info helps you though. Nice jar!

Wanted to add that they came in different colors. Yellow with brown trim is the one that I've seen the most of and I know that any of the ones with gold trim are worth more.
