Description It is very ornate, lots of detail. there is a picture on each side; a man and woman facing, bare breasted, there is a cherub beside the woman,; a woman holds a garland, there is a child and a winged man (angel). the handles are bird heads, eagles I think, holding a loop of leaves with berries or something round at the bottom. there are 4 rams headsaound the top, garlands and ribbons are depicted, lots of flowers and leaves. Intricate detailing on the base, feathers, leaves and a bird bath looking thing, or one of those flower stands you see at funerals, with fruit and an arrangement of leavs or feathers.

Distinguishing marks there are 5 letters stamped on the bottom, old english looking , think they are G O M and S and insribed very faintly you can see 1573, 29/49,igxg and ngxg

Condition Fair

Size and dimensions of this item handle to handle 12" long, 6-7 " wide and 5-6" high

Date Period Only guess would be the 1573 I can see, other than that no idea of age.
