Medium Brass and other base metals,White opal, or milk glass lower globe?
Distinguishing marks New Rochester - Hand painted lower globe. Two Vintage war ships (steamers) on the ocean on one side and Golden Bird with crossed flags on the opposite side. Center draught burner with 10" fitter ring for shade and 2 5/8" fitter ring for chimney.
Condition Excellent
Size and dimensions of this item 10" W x 6" H lower globe. Upper shade, chimney and wick missing. Original parts in excellent condition.
Date Period Patent dates on Interior of lamp burner: Jun 7,1887 - Oct 1,1889 - Jul 12, 1892 - Aug 30, 1892 - Sep 27, 1892.
History Family Heirloom, possibly from the Chicago area, or Newport, Rhode Island area.
