These date from the late 19th Century through the 1920's and could be found in many public schools. They were made in huge numbers, of which a great many survive to this day. Values are modest, Most sell at auction for what you paid for yours, in the $10.00- $40.00 range . Lovejoy

I've had one of these for years. Yes, they are schooldesk and are quite easy to find. I use mine as a end table in my family room. The seat acts as a bookcase and I've layered the desk top to make it straight so a lamp can sit on it. Always have people comment on it.
