Kaiser put out a lot of these limited edition plates in the 70's. Gorham and Pickard did the exact same plate. They would sell for $10-15.00

I agree with Cathybeth, some places try and retail these for over $40.00, but collectors plates of this type routinely sell for under $20.00 at auction. Lovejoy

looks to me as if could be hernando cortes Ive seen the same pic I have one in a large oil painting somewhere around 1545 I think
