Italian made tapestry/cloth/coverlet???

Appraisal complete
Description We are not sure what to call this other than an Italizan weaving of some sort. Tapestry, maybe, or table cloth??? Regardless it is beautiful. It is of a pale sage green interwoven with silver threads. the green and silver are vertical stripes throughout, with a rose colored pattern of large scrolls and cherubs on it. It has a small tag in one corner that says "Made in Italy". The tag is stapled to the fabric with tiny staples that appear to be getting a bit rusty. The tag is even a bit frayed, but still readable. I do not know enough about antiques to tell about any identifying marks, etc. I have other pics if needed. Would consider selling for the right price, and a good home.

History My husband and I just purchased this item a few weeks ago from a woman selling it on Craig'slist. She sold it to us for $60.00, but told us she bought it for much more, but would not reveal what she paid ofr it orignially, and said she no longer had the receipt. Has a tag that says "Made in Italy" on one corner, that is stapled to it. The staples are a little rusty, so it looks as if they ahve been there for quiate a while.
Price Paid (If known) We paid $60.00; however was told that it cost much more than that
