Description Found this helmet among other German/European military helmets. It was the only leather one present. I was told it was Czech dating back to WWII, but I'm not sure. I believe the technique to make it is called Cuir Bouilli, as it is very hard. I'm not sure if it is in fact a military helmet or another kind of helmet such as an equestrian riding cap, a beanie cap for a motorcycle, or something else altogether. Still trying to determine it's purpose but true origin.
