Description Vintage Lefton piece with a Lefton Exclusives Japan Label. This particular label tells us it was made between 1953-1971. I have never seen this pattern, and it has more of a 60's look to me, with the almost abstract kitchen images in black, red and a touch of turquoise. It has a slight slope, so it's not deep enough for an ashtray or a candy dish. My guess is that it makes a fine spoon rest - if you know otherwise, let me know! I could not find the pattern in any of my books or online, so all I can tell you is that it is 3.75" X 5" and has no chips or cracks. Just needs cleaning.
