Description the base seems to be some sort of plaster sitting on a 2 tier metal base.the iron and wood are up to the wooden candles. The patina is really beautiful both gold and silver. Silver especially on the wood dowels that hold the candlesticks. I have owned this for a very long time and do believe that the woman had brought it home from Europe. It is quite large and commands a big area. I saw something similar in a magazine called pricket torcheres. I have looked over the internet and can find nothing that come is similiar. This was electrified at some point, I don't know what it lit, I cannot figure it out.
