Ship's Lantern

Description My grandfather had a steel mill in NY, probably in the late 20's-early 30's. He gave me the lamp in 1970. He told me what it was and that he had had it for a long time. That's all. The "plack" on the back reads: Hurricane Tested Wilcox . Crittenden Co. Inc. Middletown, Conn. U.S.A. There is also a relief of a large sailing ship on water. All letters are raised.
