Brass Flower Vase?

Description This is a brass "flower vase", for the lack of a better term. It is made of solid brass, has no identifying markings whatsoever, and has what appears to be a "feather" type pattern engraved on the body. The neck is very narrow, just wide enough to probably hold the stem of a single flower. My son garbage-picked this item, after it did not sell at a garage sale, with a "$3.00" sticker still attached. He cleaned it up with Brasso after bringing it home. We have no idea as to its' origin, we're just curious as to whether it's worth anything, or if it's just a trinket.
