WW2 Japanese sword

Description This sword was used in the surrender of the Japanese in Honkong at the end of the war. The sword was taken by my father who was at the surrender, he also took one of the surrender seals and the flag from Kai Tak airfield where he led the allied landing party. I have evidence including pictures and articles.
