Chinese Jadeite/Nephrite Carving Double-Sided

Description Hello, I recently bought this carved Jadeite/Nephrite on Ebay. The seller stated it is from the 1700's. I believe the laughing character is a symbol of longevity/good luck. I'm unable to find any similar pieces and would like any info possible on determining it's age, worth & material used, whether it's Jadeite or Nephrite.Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.
