pewter pitcher

Description Beautiful shape, delicate proportions. Hinged lid with radish-shaped handle, which rests on a scroll on the handle when open. Handle also has leaf and scroll patters top and bottom, ridges along length. Spout has ridges and leaf pattern at base, and lip that looks like 2 flower petals. Pitcher widens toward the bottom, then rests on a base with ridges around diameter.

thats a neat piece, of pewter. it looks to me like it was to hold hot beverages. like coffee or chocolate. it may be a pot for such things as it looks to me. i have a piece of the pewter and it is a pitcher and it has no lid,, i wish i could tell you more about the pot but there seems to be not enough reference out there to give you.or any kind of price guide avaliable.. good luck hopefully someone will have some answer for you..
