hello,

the goblets is part of a set of 3

2 goblets marked 1514 and 1514 and1/2

the 3rd piece is marked number 40

they are made out what is called ( black silver) due to the blackish tint to them

over time.

it is part of a comunion set for the catholic chruch

the goblets are for wine for the priest durning mass

the larger goblet marked #40 is for the eucarist.

These goblets do tend to be silver plate and date from the turn of the 19th century. No huge value though, most sell for under $25.00 at auction.
