Baby cradle

Appraisal complete
Description Cradle is in good condition. It is missing the finials on the top side supports and appears to have had a canopy at some point (also missing). There are some stamped/carved writing of unknown origin on one of the bed siderails along with the carved intitials T.A.R. The cradle appears to have its original finish, has some scratches and nicks typical for its age. The bed portion of the cradle is very shallow. We were told that the cradle would have been owned by a wealthy family who only used it to "show" a new infant, not for everyday use. Not sure of the origin, but it was suggested to be from Russia.
