Trivets are a great collectible, I have a few myself. The fancier ones look good as wall art and the ones without lips are still usable as a hotplate holder. These are a mass produced item however, and there are a lot of them around. Makes it a great item to start collecting with, because the prices are still reachable. The fancier ones with organic tree type designs are selling for about $20 each. Simpler forms go all the way down to about $5 each. I would estimate yours to be in about the mid point of those values at auction. Hope that helps! Enjoy your collecting! 250chief
