Maiden (Native American?) Figurine

Description This is a very detailed (down to her toenails!) figurine of what looks like a Native American Maiden but I am not sure. It looks like bronze, but I was told by the lady at the thrift store that it is chalkware. She said that she knew the man who brought it in and it belong to his elderly aunt. I have had this for about four years and would like to know when it was made and what it's worth. I thought it was interesting and paid $50.00 for it.
