This player is one of the first small players to produce bass notes with a fairly wide frequency range. These bakelite players were known as table models and sold for about $ 50 when new in the early 1950's. They are a desireable collectible and well worth the cost to restore the unit. Value after repair would be about $ 200 in today's down market.
