Description I find this to be a very unique silver piece. The engraving in the dish is what first attracted me--Aesop's fable of "The Crow and the Pitcher." I'm just not sure of this piece's original purpose. I can't be certain, but I think it's stamped with the numbers 1 1 3 8. I have not attempted to clean or polish it.
