Leather Slave Collar

Description 3 thick bands of leather on the collar, hand stitched with rivets or pins, Copper ID plate dated 1854 with four line description on copper plate with several markings. Metal work, chains and buckle has uneven rusting and pitting. Seven chain links, split links but almost invisible welds. Appears to be hand forged metal. Leather rolled around buckle is five layers thick.
