Windsor Chair

Description No sure what type of wood it is made from. It appears to have a layer of white paint, under a stain. the stain and paint are cracked or crackled. There is a rusted metal rod that goes diagnally from one leg to the other and there is the same rod on each arm that goes from the underside of the arm to the seat.

History this chair was in a basement of a house my Aunt bought in about the late 50's, early 60's in Jersey City, NJ. she then gave it to my Mom who in turn gave it to me. thats all I know about this chair
