Description This was found boxed in a family members belongings. A note was included that said: "Dear Verlee, I hope that this in some small way will help to repay some of your kindness. The lace is very old, older by a couple hundred years than the body of the Kimona, or so I was told by an appraisor a few years ago. Your humble & obedient servant ~ Ellen" It is unknown when this was written but Verlee was a Great Aunt born in early 1900. The Kimono was boxed with a pair of shoes as well. Needs a good cleaning.
