pencil signed bottom right numbered bottom left. america's cup race 1974 between u.s.a. couragous and southern cross australia. has water mark mark right side as seen in photo.
That this is #7/500 would indicate that the print was either presented or sold to a close friend of the artist.
Because it was printed on "coated stock" the ink tends to lay atop the paper - making sunlight the enemy and causing the coloration to go to purple when displayed in or near natural light over time.
I believe that the original painting was purchased by either Ted Turner or Alan Bond, though I am not certain at this writing.
