Description
I found this doll at ta little thrift store in a small country town. This doll is hand painted, she has a working music box inside her cloth back. She is porcelain/bisque upper torso that has two tiny holes that sews that torso to the cloth body. Her hands and feet are porcelain/bisque as well. She has felt shoes, and leggings underneath her dress. Her nails are painted to match her lips and dress. She is in excellent condition, I would love to know where she orginates and who makes her. What era, all the above. Any help would be appreciated. I have never seen another like her... Thanks
Re: Unknown Orgin or make bisque doll very old?
I believe I have the same doll but mine is not in as good shape as yours. I don't have the hat and the dress is different but the face and hair and musical box in back are all the same, well hair is not as tame as yours, mine was given to me by my grandmother about 16 years ago. I do not know where it came from or who made it and I would also like to know what the value of the doll is worth.

These are very modern dolls, most date from the 1980's + when the demand for original Victorian dolls began to go throught the roof. Most I've seen were made in Asia.
