Musky Duc Fishing Lure (Byler Corporation)
Item Description:
Historical Context:
The Musky Duc fishing lure was manufactured by the Byler Corporation, which applied for a patent for this design in 1949. This unique lure, designed to resemble a duckling, was intended for muskie fishing and gained recognition for its mechanical movement in the water, thanks to the tin wings and chrome feet spinners. The design is considered innovative for its time and is sought after by collectors of vintage fishing gear.
The inclusion of the original box and instruction sheet, coupled with the lure's mint condition, makes it a highly collectible item for both fishing enthusiasts and vintage sporting goods collectors.
