Description The dresser is about 4 feet high with 3 drawers. The original finish is intact and it appears to be a "black" coating which is "crackled". Each drawer increases in size from top to bottom. The front of the bottom drawer has shrunk down with age, and now there is about a 1 inch gap. There are 4 straight legs with a cross bar. The bottom of each side has two rounded points. The back of the dresser top comes up approx. two inches and is rounded on the sides.

I've done some research, and I believe the piece is American made... perhaps shaker. I believe the back is pine, but the dresser is made out of a hard wood. Each drawer has 2 pressed glass knobs.
